Grammy Awards 2022 Winners Celebrated by SESAC

Las Vegas, NV (April 4, 2022) – SESAC is proud to congratulate its affiliated artists who received accolades as Grammy awards 2022 winners at the 64th Annual GRAMMY® Awards, held Sunday, April 3, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Affiliate PJ Morton took home his fourth award for his work on We Are, recorded by Jon Batiste, which won the night’s biggest honor – Album of the Year. Affiliate Kyle Lee took home his first trophy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Believe For It” recorded by CeCe Winans. Believe For It, CeCe’s album of the same name, also won the award for Best Gospel Album. 

Affiliate Nathalie Bonin was recognized onstage during the pre-telecast for her contribution to “Women Warriors – The Voices of Change” which took home the award for Best Classical Compendium.

In addition, SESAC affiliate Jack Harlow joined Lil Nas X to perform their #1 smash hit “Industry Baby” – nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance – during his epic performance medley. SESAC affiliates Jimmie AllenJapanese Breakfast, and Glass Animals were all nominated in the Best New Artist category. 

The SESAC family is proud of all the affiliate nominees for their individual contributions and outstanding achievements during the past year. Affiliates were represented in nominations for a dynamic range of genres including Rock, Country, Latin, Contemporary Christian, and R&B among others.
