This SESAC repertory search (the “Repertory Search”) enables Users to research the musical works represented by SESAC. Search results will contain song titles, SESAC-represented songwriter(s) and SESAC-represented publisher(s) for musical compositions represented by SESAC, including copyrighted arrangements of works in the public domain. The search results may not include information on non-SESAC represented songwriters and/or publishers. SESAC uses reasonable efforts to keep the information contained in its repertory database current and will grant Users of this Repertory Search a forty-five (45) day grace period beginning upon the date that a musical work is first posted to SESAC’s repertory database to obtain from SESAC a license covering the use of that musical work, during which forty-five (45) day period SESAC will make no claims of copyright infringement against the User; provided, however, that the User has acted in good faith and was unaware that the musical work is contained within SESAC's repertory.

As search results will contain information provided to SESAC by the songwriters and publishers that SESAC represents, SESAC makes no representations and/or warranties with respect to the accuracy or completeness of the information found within the search results, though SESAC has no reason to believe that the information found within the search results is inaccurate or incomplete. Search results may identify SESAC-represented musical works that SESAC is unable to license to certain music users, because the applicable music publisher of such musical works has indicated to SESAC that such works have been or will be directly licensed to said music users (such license, a “Direct License”); and search results identifying information related to musical works that are the subject of a Direct License may provide no indication that such a Direct License is in place. SESAC makes no representations and/or warranties as to any information contained in the search results, and SESAC specifically disclaims any direct or indirect liability for any losses or risks of any kind including, but not limited to, any incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages arising or which may arise out of the use, application or omission of any of the information contained in any search results. The search results, in whole or in part, shall not be licensed, loaned, rented or otherwise distributed, transferred or circulated by you. You may not use data mining, robots or intelligent agents, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to access the information about SESAC’s repertory made available through SESAC Repertory Search. You may not use or redistribute any of the information made available by SESAC through this functionality on any other website or networked computer environment or otherwise for any purpose not set forth above or for any unlawful purpose. Except as expressly provided herein, you may not restrict or inhibit any other visitor from using any aspect of the SESAC Repertory Search, including, without limitation, by means of "hacking", denial of service attacks, or defacing any portion of same. The musical compositions contained in the search results are represented by SESAC on a non- exclusive basis. Accordingly, you may obtain authorization directly from the copyright owner(s) or their representatives to publicly perform, in the United States, any musical work contained in the search results.
