Liverpool-based artist Dylan Robert brought a kind of energy to the stage that felt much bigger than the room he was in.
He performed as part of our Sound City showcase in 2024, the last Sound City showcase John Sweeney programmed, which makes his inclusion feel especially meaningful. John always had a way of spotlighting artists who carried something real into their live shows, and Dylan Robert fit that instinct perfectly.
His sound leans into guitar-driven indie with a mix of nostalgia and momentum, the kind of songs that feel familiar in the best way but still have their own edge. There’s an ease to it, but also a confidence that comes through strongest live.
