Nashville, Tenn. (March 29, 2017) – Multiple award-winning, country artist and songwriter Lee Brice has signed with SESAC, it was announced today by John Josephson, chairman and CEO, SESAC Holding, Inc., the nation’s only Music Rights Organization and the most progressive PRO in the country, for representation.

Lee Brice, whose chart-topping singles include “I Drive Your Truck,” “I Don’t Dance,” “Drinking Class,” and “Love Like Crazy” is among Nashville’s most respected singer/songwriters of the decade. He has written songs for artists including Garth Brooks’ “More Than A Memory,” Tim McGraw’s “Still,” and Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl.”

“Lee is one of the most skillful lyricists and admired vocalists in country music,” said Josephson. “His creative versatility and wide-ranging lyrics not only resonates with his many fans but also his peers across the industry. We’re very proud to welcome Lee to the SESAC family.”

“I’m proud to be part of the SESAC family. John and the SESAC team are doing great things on behalf of artists and songwriters, and I’m thrilled to be part of their family of creatives,” says Lee.

Brice released his debut album, Love Like Crazy, in 2009. The title track reached #3 on the Billboard Country chart and set a record as the longest-charting song in that chart’s history.  In 2012, he topped his own success with Hard 2 Love, an album that went Gold and featured three #1 Country singles, including “I Drive Your Truck,” which won Song of the Year at both the CMA and ACM Awards. The record earned raves everywhere from NPR to Country Weekly and found The New York Times hailing him as “a sensitive macho man,” a compliment that perfectly encapsulates both sides of Brice’s persona. Hard 2 Love also garnered Lee his late-night debut with a stirring performance of “I Drive Your Truck” on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”

Brice took it a step further on his latest album, I Don’t Dance, relishing the role of producer with a flair for experimentation, resulting in the album’s title track hitting #1 at radio the week the album came out.

Most recently, Brice earned his first RIAA double-Platinum certification, marking more than two million sales and streams of his single, “I Don’t Dance,” (Curb Records 2014), marking his seventh consecutive certification since “Love Like Crazy” certified Gold in 2010.

The award-winning songwriter, producer and male-vocalist will continue to tour through the fall while also writing and recording his fourth studio album slated for release in 2017 on Curb Records.
