Mario Prins serves as Senior Director of Creative Services at SESAC Performing Rights, where he is responsible for signing and retaining a diverse roster of songwriter and publisher affiliates. He is based in Los Angeles.

Since joining SESAC in 2010, Prins has worked with multi GRAMMY-winning artist Robert Glasper Jr., breakout artist Dani Leigh, producer/songwriter Rami Dawod, rapper/artist YG, songwriter/producer/actor Aaron Lamont, and many more. Prins has been named to the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Power Players lists in both 2019 and 2020.

Prins is also a prolific DJ (Dj MarioXPrins), who can take any audience on a musical journey with seamless blends, mixes and edits. His clients include NBA Live 2k, EA Games, Judge Judy, Playboy, Urban Digital Network, BET Networks and more. .

Prior to SESAC, Prins worked in Sync Licensing at Universal Music Publishing Group. Previous roles included KDAY 93.5 FM as Promotions Manager and as on-air talent at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM. He is a Los Angeles native, and attended St. John’s University in New York City.
