Abbey Watson serves as Creative Services Coordinator for SESAC Performing Rights. Since joining the team in 2021, her responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day activities and client support of affiliated writers and publishers, working to address affiliates’ inquiries regarding song registrations, distributions and payments, and account updates, managing seamless onboarding of new affiliates, and participating in event planning, industry presentations, showcase bookings, and other projects.

In addition, Watson acts as a liaison between internal departments and outside business partners, actively manages calendars/schedules, works with others to organize and track events, conference calls, and meetings, and tracks charting and trending songs to report to the creative team.

In 2020, Watson graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business. During her time at Belmont, she held multiple internship positions including, Publishing Creative Intern for Concord Music Publishing, Film/TV Licensing Intern for Secret Road Music Services, and Artist Management Intern for Proper Management.
