With Indie Week in full swing in New York, SESAC Music Group hosted a group of 200+ music industry executives and partners on the rooftop at the Jimmy Soho on Tuesday, June 11.
The annual cocktail reception was held in honor of SESAC Performing Rights affiliates R.E.M. who will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the ceremony on Thursday, June 13. Band members Mike Mills, Michael Stipe, and Peter Buck joined the celebration with a host of family and friends.
Additionally, SESAC Music Group Chairman and CEO John Josephson spoke at NMPA’s annual Investor Conference while Scott Jungmichel (President and COO, SESAC Performing Rights), Michael Simon (President, HFA/Rumblefish), and Alexander Wolf (President, International, SESAC Music Group) led conversations on performing rights and the global publishing market at AIMP’s Global Music Publishing Summit.
