To our community,
In 1931, SESAC was founded on the principle that “Music is a common denominator.” That same principle holds true today as we pledge to our colleagues, songwriters, composers, and the community at large to continue as an organization committed to inclusiveness and equality.
SESAC stands in unity with the Black community and is dedicated to doing its part to help end systemic racism, hatred and injustice in America. Meaningful and continuous change comes through engagement and action.
To further educate ourselves and to enlist the community, we have compiled helpful resources below–many of which have been provided by Black creators and Black-led organizations on how we can help fight for racial justice.
