Abarcando múltiples géneros musicales, los artistas de SESAC Latina cautivaron a sus seguidores y a los televidentes por todo el mundo durante la vigésima entrega anual de los Latin GRAMMYs®.
El director de orquesta peruano-estadounidense Tony Succar se llevó los primeros dos Latin GRAMMYs® de su trayectoria, en las categorías de Mejor Álbum de Salsa por Más De Mi, y Productor Del Año. Además, Tony actuó en la apertura del programa que rindió homenaje a los desaparecidos íconos de la música latina como Celia Cruz, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, Camilo Sesto y Gustavo Cerati. Los artistas de SESAC Latina Reik y Calibre 50 también intervinieron en este tributo.
El legendario grupo norteño Intocable se hizo acreedor al tercer Latin GRAMMY® de su exitosa carrera con su álbum Percepción, y fue ovacionado por su actuación en vivo.
A un año de ganar su primer Latin GRAMMY®, Christian Nodal, de 20 años, obtuvo dos más, ganando el premio de Mejor Álbum De Música Ranchera/Mariachi por su disco Ahora, y Mejor Canción Regional por “De Los Besos Que Te Di”, tema de la autoría de Christian y el también afiliado de SESAC Gussy Lau, que se desprende de Ahora.
Además, una de las artistas más recientes del elenco de SESAC Latina, Ángela Aguilar, nos llamó la atención con su hermoso vestido verde en la alfombra roja. Ella también presentó un galardón durante la velada.
La vigésima entrega anual de los Latin GRAMMYs® fue transmitida en vivo por Univisión desde Las Vegas.

SESAC Latina Affiliates Win Five Latin Grammy® Awards And Perform On The World Stage
SESAC Latina artists, across multiple genres, captivated fans and viewers from around the world during last night’s 20th Annual Latin GRAMMYs®.
Peruvian-American bandleader Tony Succar took home the first two Latin GRAMMYs® of his career, in the categories of Best Salsa Album for Más De Mi (More of Me), and Producer of the Year. He performed at the show’s opening tribute extravaganza to Latin music’s icons of the past, such as Celia Cruz, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, Camilo Sesto and Gustavo Cerati. Also performing during the tribute were SESAC Latina artists Reik and Calibre 50.
The legendary norteño band Intocable won the third Latin GRAMMY® of its storied career with its album Percepción. The group also performed at the ceremony.
One year after winning his first Latin GRAMMY®, 20-year-old Christian Nodal picked up two more, taking home Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album for Ahora (Now), and Best Regional Mexican Song for “De Los Besos Que Te Di” (Of The Kisses I Gave You), a track from Ahora which he co-wrote with fellow SESAC affiliate Gussy Lau.
Furthermore, one of SESAC Latina’s newest artists, Ángela Aguilar, turned heads with her stunning green dress on the red carpet, and was presented an award.
The 20th annual Latin GRAMMYs® were telecast live by Univisión in Las Vegas.
