The Epic Proportions Tour 2012!

The Epic Proportions Tour provides a way for unsigned bands to make a living touring the country. They accomplish this with a combination of alternative fuels, great booking skills, and lots of quick thinking and improvisation.

March 1st marks the kick-off of the Epic Proportions Tour in Phoenix, Arizona, routing through the Southwestern U.S. Sponsored by VH1 Classic, Airwalk Shoes, SESAC, “Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camp” and the American Red Cross, the tour will play at colleges, high schools, military bases, and the largest music festival in the world, South By Southwest.
The Epic Proportions Tour was created by headlining artist Gabe Kubanda, and Peter Sotos of Fireball Music Management to provide an eco-friendly alternative for bands to tour cost-effectively and to help raise funds for the Red Cross.

The Epic Proportions Tour Bus runs on Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) eliminating money for gas and foul diesel emissions, and has solar power panels to provide electricity for the bands to run their laptops and charge their phones.  The tour is also being filmed for an unscripted reality show about the crazy life of touring bands, and documents what really goes on behind the scene/stage, and the “super fun” job of collecting the Waste Vegetable Oil.

The 2nd annual Epic Proportions Tour will feature Gabe Kubanda; an acoustic pop solo artist whose style is a mix of Maroon 5 and Death Cab For Cutie.  Gabe’s current single “Hot Mess” is in rotation at college radio stations around the country.  Also featured is Austrian-born Thomas King, whose high energy on stage and vocals has been influenced by his idols:  Michael Jackson, Prince, Robbie Williams, and The Killers.  And the rising female-fronted band Lost In Atlantis will also be featured on this tour.  Their intense and inspiring “rocktronica” stage show is not one to be missed!
