Malcolm Hawker serves as Chief Operating Officer for SESAC Music Group where he is charged with overseeing the operations of all the SESAC portfolio companies. Malcolm joins SESAC with extensive experience in copyright licensing, international business development and technology, and he will be leading our efforts to create efficiency and growth across our rights management companies including SESAC Performing Rights, The Harry Fox Agency, Audiam and CCLI.
Prior to joining SESAC, Hawker served as the President and CEO of CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) a global rights licensing and resource company. CCLI serves over 250,000 churches, schools, and other organizations in more than 150 countries and represents the intellectual property rights of over 5,000 church music publishers and song owners. Hawker served as CCLI’s Asia-Pacific Managing Director in Sydney, Australia beginning in 2006, being promoted to CCLI’s Chief Operating Officer in Washington, USA through the end of 2015 when he was promoted to President and CEO.
