SESAC, the nation's fastest growing performing rights organization, has announced the appointment of Ashley Miller to Vice President, West Coast Operations. Miller’s responsibilities will include overseeing all operations of SESAC's Santa Monica office, building relationships with potential affiliates and entertainment industry executives, and providing services to current SESAC affiliates. She will also take a leadership role in SESAC’s Film and Television initiatives as well as facilitate writer and catalog affiliations.

Miller began her career in the music business managing the day-to-day operations for David Lee Roth's LA Management offices, Diamond Dave Enterprises, before moving on to contract administration for Vision International. In 1992, Miller joined the West Coast office of The Zomba Group of Companies and was instrumental in the development and daily operations of the company's premiere Film and Television division encompassing music editorial, music supervision, composer representation, music libraries and music publishing/master recording licensing. Before her recent appointment at SESAC, Miller was responsible for establishing and overseeing the music department for independent film production company Millennium Films/New Image Pictures as Exec In Charge of Music/ Music Supervisor which included a slate of 15 – 20 films per year, music publishing and soundtracks. Miller's feature film credits include such major releases as "Rambo", "Righteous Kill", "Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans", "The Black Dahlia”, 16 Blocks” and "Brooklyn's Finest".
