Connective Panel Series opens registrations, announces panelists

The Connective ™ Panel Series hosts its next panel on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Harlem at Opus 118 Harlem School of Music at 103 125th Street (at Park Avenue) in New York City at 7:00 p.m.  The Connective ™ Panel Series serves to educate indie artists and musicians on the music business, serve as a networking opportunity, and raise awareness and funds for the Artist Against Hunger & Poverty Program of WHY (World Hunger Year), and Opus 118 Harlem School of Music.

The Panel Topic is “Vocal Health, Training and Injury Avoidance”   Panelists include:  William Riley vocal coach to Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Laura Fabian, Rosanne Cash, and President Bill Clinton, Dr. Linda Carroll, an expert in voice function and rehabilitation of injured voices, and Dr. Gwen S. Kovoran, an otolaryngologist, with a subspecialty in voice.  Jennie Walker is the founder of the Connective Panel Series and will serve as the panel moderator.

Panel fee is $20.00.  $15.00 for SESAC members and students of Juilliard, NYU and SAE Institute.  All profits from the panel series will go to charity (WHY and Opus 118, Harlem School of Music.)  RSVP HERE.  Payments at the door. Registration takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The Panel runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with networking at the end.

Participants receive a free 6 month trial subscription to Sonicbids.
