SESAC’s Kelli Turner Named to Billboard's Women In Music 2017
SESAC’s Kelli Turner was recognized as one of Billboard’s Women in Music 2017: The Most Powerful Executives in the Industry, which was announced today in the most recent issue of the magazine. Turner, SESAC’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development, was honored—for the third consecutive year—as one of the leading executives who made a difference in the music industry at the Los Angeles Awards Show and Dinner, Nov. 30. Under the leadership of Turner in the past year, the company has improved operations of recent acquisitions and the core business continues to grow organically by investing in talent and negotiating better licenses with users of content. In January, Turner, in conjunction with CEO John Josephson, led the sale of SESAC Holdings to Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager. The long-term relationship will continue to enhance SESAC’s growth while keeping its commitment to the best in class service to affiliates, licensees and partners.
Congratulations to Kelli and her industry colleagues honored by Billboard Magazine.
