SESAC's James Napier Wins Best Original Song at Oscars

SESAC’s reigning Pop Songwriter of the Year, James Napier, took home Best Original Song at the 88th Annual Academy Awards for “Writing’s On The Wall” from the James Bond movie, Spectre.  Co-written and performed by Sam Smith, the song also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in January.  A prolific and highly successful songwriter, Napier has been a mainstay on the radio airwaves with such pop hits as “Latch” by Disclosure, “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne and “Stay With Me,” which was named SESAC’s Pop Song of the year in 2015.
