Charli XCX “The Voice of Summer”

New York Magazine has called SESAC affiliate Charli XCX “the voice of summer” and here’s why…

  • Charli XCX (PRS) co-wrote “Fancy” as recorded by Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX, a single that  spent 7 weeks at No.1. on Billboard’s Hot 100.  The song also topped the Digital Songs, Streaming Songs, On Demand Songs, Mainstream Top Songs, R&B Hip Hop and Hot Rap Songs charts.  “Fancy” has been declared THE song of Summer 2014.
  • Charli XCX also co-wrote the biggest hit of Summer 2013 with the chart-topping success of “I Love It” by Icona Pop.  The song went on to earn Charli SONG OF THE YEAR and SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR honors at the 18th ANNUAL SESAC POP AWARDS.
  • Charli XCX is now making a huge impact on the airwaves as an artist in her own right with the debut of her single, “Boom Clap” which is currently storming up Billboard’s Hot 100.  The single was also featured on the soundtrack of 20th Century Fox’s hit summer romance The Fault In Our Stars.
  • Charli is currently on a world tour but will be back in the States in time to release her highly-anticipated sophomore solo album in October.
