The New York Songwriters Collective presents…

“Universal Songs & Holiday Traditions” Seminar / Workshop

 Six Sessions / Tuesday Evenings / Time: 6:30PM – 8:30PM
Dates: March 4, 11, 18, 25 April 1, 8
Fee: $295 (with active Collective membership)
Location:  Studio 212, 244 West 54th St., Suite 800B, NY, NY 10023

Join this special Collective event which is part seminar / part workshop as we explore the creation of the transcending song – the classic – the timeless – “Universal Song”. The goal of the workshop is to help each member craft their special song.  This sounds like a monumental task but the skills learned in the process will go a long way to enhancing each member’s songwriting skill set.

SPECIAL GUESTS:  When we think of “Universal” songs – Julie Gold’s Grammy winning “From a Distance” (Bette Midler and many more) and John DeNicola’s Oscar awarded “I’ve Had The Time of My Life” (Dirty Dancing’s Theme) certainly come to mind.   Julie and John will be joining the workshop over two evenings to share their writing experiences and listen to “works in progress”. Holiday Song music publisher Justin Wilde will review songs composed and created in the workshop.

This is certain to be an inspirational workshop in an intimate environment with a very limited number of seats available. Reserve soon
