RUSH Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Congratulations to RUSH for their recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in ceremonies at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. All three members of the group, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Pert, took a break from their busy touring schedule to personally accept their latest honor. Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters inducted RUSH into the Hall of Fame and offered humorous and moving comments on the impact the group had on their musical upbringing.
Other SESAC affiliates participating in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony included Paul Shaffer who was on hand to lead the all-star band and Jerry Cantrell who took part in the induction of rockers Heart. The all-star band also jammed out to Robert Johnson’s “Crossroads” at the end of the evening.
