Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) Nashville Chapter Announces An All Star Line Up for its Inaugural Meeting


NASHVILLE – March 2, 2012 – The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) Nashville Chapter and Fifth Third Bank present an all-star panel on the post-Napster reality of how indie publisher’s are successfully exploiting and monetizing copyrights in many different ways by adapting quickly to the ever-changing technology and a social media culture.

The all-star panel includes Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, Keith Stegall of Bigger Picture Music Group; John Strohm, Senior Counsel of Loeb and Loeb who represents Grammy Award winning duo The Civil Wars; Record label executive David Macias of Thirty Tigers; Producer and label executive of Carnival Music, Frank Liddell; and songwriter/music publisher Chris DuBois of Sea Gayle Music and Sea Gayle Records. John Allen, VP of BMG Chrysalis will serve as moderator.

This conversation with industry leaders will prove to be provocative as they discuss where they see the music industry evolving and how to adapt and thrive in it.

The panel discussion will be held on Monday, March 26th from 4 – 6 p.m. at Cabana Restaurant located at 1910 Belcourt Ave, Nashville, TN 37212.
