Craig Sharmat On Discovery

Composer Craig Sharmat’s work can be heard as the theme song on Discovery Channel’s Discovery Investigations: Who The (Bleep) Did I Marry?.

ABOUT Craig Sharmat:
Sharmat landed his first gig with the Disney series Kids Incorporated where he worked on composing and arranging songs for up & coming actors such as Brittany Murphy, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Eric Balfour.  He went on to score sports specials including Greatest Moments Of The U.S. Open and Champions On Ice.  Sharmat later tackled the animation genre working on series such as Men In  Black, Dragon Tales, CatDog and The Adventures Of Jackie Chan among many others.  During this time Sharmat started working on John Walsh’s America’s Most Wanted as well as scoring the Court TV series Suburban Secrets and the 2007 MTV Movie Awards opening.

Sharmat has written songs that have been included in CSI: Miami and Without A Trace as well as providing trailer music for such films as Anchorman, King Kong, Spiderman 3 and Live Free, Die Hard among many others.  The composer worked on the acclaimed documentary Gotta Dance and scored the main title and original music for the popular show, The Real Housewives Of New Jersey and worked on three Discovery Chanel series Prison Wives, Verdict You Decide and I’m Pregnant And…

A jazz musician in his own right, Sharmat has released a solo album entitled So Cal Drivin’ with the single of the same time spending significant time on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Chart.
