SESAC Affiliates Shine at Grammy Awards

It was a night of incredible music and celebration for many SESAC affiliates at the “55th Annual GRAMMY Awards” held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Mumford & Sons were the big winner of the night taking home Album of the Year honors for their highly acclaimed album, Babel. The group also delivered one of the evening’s most dynamic performances when they joined forces with Sir Elton John, Mavis Staples, Zac Brown and Alabama Shakes in a riveting version of “The Weight” in an all-star tribute to the late Levon Helm of legendary group, The Band. Mumford & Sons also were victorious in the category of Best Long Form Music Video for Big Easy Express. Music virtuoso Robert Glasper was the winner in the category of Best R&B Album for his landmark Black Radio album on Blue Note Records.
