Pat Collins is Vice Chairman & Senior Advisor for SESAC Performance Rights, the nation’s only Music Rights Organization. He is a business graduate of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio and holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Trevecca Nazarene University. He came to SESAC in 1995 after a twenty-one year career in the performing rights industry. At SESAC Collins served as Senior Vice President of Licensing for several years before being named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2004.
Collins was honored with the 2009 Sage Award during the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals Third Annual Nashville Emerging Leader Awards held at Lipscomb University. The award is given to one of Nashville’s top leaders who have made an impact on the city’s young professional demographic. Pat is a past president of Nashville’s Leadership Music as well as a former member of the Leadership Music Board, Country Music Association Board, and YMCA Board. Mr. Collins is also involved with other music business management initiatives and academic institutions within the Nashville community and is a graduate of the prestigious Leadership Nashville program.
Collins is recognized as one of the leading performing rights executives in the United States.
