The Grascals

The Grascals seemed to rocket out of nowhere in 2005, as the International Bluegrass Music Awards anointed them as Emerging Artist of the Year in November. Then, just a month after that, their Rounder debut CD, The Grascals, earned a Grammy nomination.
Each Grascal is familiar to those who know what really matters in Music City: the musicians behind the scenes, standing just outside the spotlight or tucked anonymously into his own booth at a recording studio.
