SESAC CELEBRATES TELEVISION AND FILM COMPOSERS

Beverly Hills, CA – On Tuesday, June 5, SESAC honored its stellar roster of top film and television composers with the annual SESAC Television & Film Composers Awards Dinner. The invitation-only event was held at the elegant il Cielo restaurant in Beverly Hills, Ca., and commemorated an incredible year for SESAC’s composers, with over 100 awards given to affiliates recognizing excellence in television and film music composition.

"We look forward to this evening each year when we acknowledge our composers in television and film," said Pat Rogers, Senior Vice President, SESAC. "The music they create is an essential part of the overall emotional experience of a show or film and SESAC is honored to be associated with such talented composers."

The SESAC event bestows awards to music composers in the categories of Top Rated Television Series, Syndicated/Local Television, Cable Television, Top Performed Theme and Film Composing. Some of the music cited in the television programs and films genres included Grey’s Anatomy, Boston Legal, My Name Is Earl, Deal Or No Deal, House and Pink Panther, We Are Marshall and The Hills Have Eyes among many others.
