SESAC is one of three Performing Rights Organizations in the United States. A Performing Rights Organization (PRO) represents Songwriters and Music Publishers, and pays them performance royalties whenever their songs are played in public. This means whenever your songs are performed live or played on the radio, television, restaurants or clubs, you have the right to be compensated and it is our job to make sure you get paid!

We are the smallest of the three U.S. Performing Rights Organizations, but size is our biggest advantage. Through our relationships with everyone in the biz from managers to attorneys, booking agents to publicists, record labels to publishing companies, producers to engineers, we are here to guide you in the early stages of your career. And as a SESAC affiliate you will remain a priority and never get lost in the shuffle.
Unlike any other PRO, we pay our bands live performance royalties when they go on tour, regardless of how big or small the venues. SESAC invests in your career from Day One. As your career and gigs grow, so will your payments.
SESAC has always been a technological leader in the industry. We were the first PRO to use a state-of-the-art digital tracking method for radio called Broadcast Data Systems (BDS). This
means faster, more accurate royalty payments for you.
The
SESAC roster includes some of the hottest and most progressive names in music including Bob Dylan, RUSH, Mad Caddies, Coheed & Cambria, Young Love, The Faint, The Rapture, Killswitch Engage, Mates Of State, Voxtrot, El-P, Swizz Beatz, Omarion, Bow Wow, Bryan-Michael Cox and Nate “Danja” Hills, just to name a few.
