9. SESAC's Rhean Boyer signs with Major Bob Music
SESAC affiliate Rhean Boyer has signed a publishing deal with Major Bob Music.  Boyer, lead singer of country group Carolina Rain, joined SESAC executives in a visit to the Major Bob Nashville offices to mark the new partnership.

SESAC was founded in New York in 1930 by German immigrant Paul Heinecke, who, in an effort to help European publishers with their American performance royalties, established SESAC as the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers.
